Roche Harbor - Friday

After getting off the boat we walked around the Marina for a little bit.  Emma and Olivia thought it was pretty cool.

Then it was off to the pool.  The kids had a great time in the kiddie pool.

Olivia, Haley and Emma...bathing beauties.

Marcus got in trouble twice...once for running and the next time for diving into the pool.  I couldn't resist taking his picture with the life guard scolding him.

I have to say, I think Marc was a little guilty too.

It was bright...I gave Olivia my sunglasses...pretty cute.

Emma and Addison were in the pool most of the time.  Those life jackets were awesome for these kids...the pool is a little over 3 feet deep so the life jackets allowed them to play and swim safely.

Then it was off to the little cabin.  Addison brought her motorized scooter and let all the kids have a chance.  Olivia thought it was pretty cool.  Marc had to run with her to make sure she didn't fall.

Emma preferred to sit on the porch and paint her nails.

Marcus thought the motorized scooter was the best thing ever.  Mike ran along with him to keep him safe.

Emma did finally decide to try it out.  Mike ran along with her too.  Then later all the kids were standing around it by themselves and Emma decided to try it alone.  She did okay for a few feet then went out of control towards the cars and bit it right in the gravel.  We did a little TLC and got her fixed up.  Poor thing...that was scary.

The marina does colors around 8:15 every night so we went to check it out.  They even sound a cannon which is really loud.

The kids were all together watching it (and eating ice cream...yum!).

It was pretty cool.

Marcus stuck by his Daddy.  They sure did miss each other after being separated longer than a week!

Then back to the cabin for a camp fire.  Uncle Joe hung out with us too.

We all came here for Raymond.  He turned the big 40 in April and wanted to celebrate at Roche Harbor in August with friends and family.

So his sister, Robin, made him a strawberry shortcake birthday cake and we all sang Happy Birthday!

Raymond had all the kids help him blow out candles.  Happy Birthday Raymond!
