Campea Photos from Lakeside meet

Campea Photography was at the Lakeside meet a couple of weeks ago and he finally posted. Here’s the ones of Marcus. Yesterday was a meet at Riverside and Grami and Poppi came. Marcus broke 12 in the 100 and 24 in the 200. His getting faster and faster. 

 

Track Invitational in Cheney

Marcus had an amazing meet in Cheney! He jumped 6' in high jump; that's a Personal Best and qualifying height for State! He also had a PB in the 200m and won his heat by a lot! I thought I was videoing the race but for some reason it didn't work...oh well, next time.

 

California Spring Break Trip

We made a trip to California for Marcus’s spring break and accomplished a lot. We got to see 6 Cal Lu softball games, we visited Marcus’s future college where he met coaches and even attended a practice, we did a sunset hike and we got in some beach time. We were there for Easter so went to Olivia’s church and hung out by the pool. It was a fabulous vacation. 

 

Senior Year Track

Marcus is competing in track again this year. They had an invite in Colville today. His events were 100 meters, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay and high jump. I missed his 100 meters race ut saw online that he got a personal best time of 12.14...great start! I did get to witness the 4x100 relay. Marcus and Javante had the perfect hand off...they are legs 3 and 4. Marcus ran so hard and fast...the other teams tried to catch up but in the end, Rams WON! They had a personal best time of 45.95! Marcus pulled his quad so they had to withdraw from the 4x400. He did finish the high jump though, with a pulled quad! He ended at 5'6" which remains to be his best so far. He did place 4th so that's pretty awesome. Overall it was a great day for track!
