End of a Great Vacation!

Saturday morning we woke up bright and early.  We took the kids for a walk to the marina to see if Raymond was awake.  This is McKena and Marcus.  These two stuck together like glue.  They even stumbled on to a wedding rehearsal on Friday night and snuck in.  Marc was witness to it and over heard McKena say "isn't her dress beautiful!"  Marcus replied "yes, she is cute!"  We joked that this was a budding romance :-)

The kids traveled around on the "bob" most of the time too.  They are just a little spoiled.

Here are all the kids minus little JJ (he is 2 and was not in the mood for pictures), Deanna and Jonny (they were at their hotel.  Front row is Addison and Haley (Raymond's nieces), Emma, Marcus and McKena (Raymond's cousin's daughter...JJ is her brother).  Then in back is Olivia of course.

Our family went to the marina later to have some breakfast.  We got the kids a cup of milk...looks like coffee...too cute!

They were happy to have a good breakfast.

Then the kids humored me (after a stern talk from Daddy) and walked around the dock to see all the boats. 

Marcus was amazed by the sail boats.

A quick family photo.  Marc and I used to come here a lot before kids.  It was a lot of fun to take the kids here and show them all around.

Then it was back to the pool.  Shark boy did a lot of swimming.

Emma did a lot of swimming too.

Then we had to leave.  We went back to Friday Harbor around 2pm to catch the 3:45 ferry back to Anacortes.  McKena's family and Deanna's family caught the same ferry so we walked around Friday Harbor together while we waited to board the ferry.

The kids asked me to take their picture in front of these orcas...they really thought these were so cool especially after they got to see them first hand on the boat.

So long San Juan Islands!  We had a great time!

We got the kids popcorn on the ferry to pass the time.

And one last picture.  We got to Antacortes around 5pm and drove to Grami and Poppi's house.  Marcus fell asleep as we left the ferry and didn't wake up again until this morning.  The girls slept most of the way too...they were tired!  We were tired too!  That's the sign of a Great Vacation!
