Another Summer Wedding

Here comes the bride...don't you love her dress?  It was pink!  So pretty!

This is Michele and Bobby.  Marc used to work with Bobby years ago.

The wedding was in a beautiful setting outdoors.  The bridesmaids wore black, the groomsmen wore black and white and the bride wore soft pink (the groom had some pink too).  It was very stunning.  The day was beautiful too...not too hot, not to cold.

Michele said "I'm Married!"  Too cute.

Here's the cake.  The wedding started at 6pm and they didn't quite get to the cake cutting before we left.  As a result, we didn't get to taste it.  It sure looked pretty though.

We found this cute little area with these swings.  That's where the 5 of us camped out to eat.

Boys on one side, girls on the other.

There was a great play area in the corner of the big yard too.  Marcus didn't stay clean for long of course.  He found some trucks to play with...he was in heaven.

Marc and I could actually sit on this swing and watch the kids from afar.  We did talk Emma into coming over and taking a picture of us though.  It's pretty great that the kids are starting to be able to take pictures now...maybe I'll be in more in of them now :-)

I took this one from afar.  They are trained so well, they just took one look at me with my camera and knew what I was doing...I didn't even have to say a thing...I just gave them the thumbs up when I got my shot.

Then I made Marcus get in too...had to get all three of course.

We stayed long enough for the toast.  Such a beautiful setting and a beautiful couple.

The kids were ready to party...but it was getting late.

During the first dance, father/daughter dance and mother/son dance the kids were getting antsy.  They actually found a second dance floor and danced the night away.  The weather cooled down quickly and the kids started getting super tired so off we went.  We did have a great time though.  Congratulations again to the bride and groom!

Pool Party!

Chad's Aunt and Uncle had a pool party tonight and we were invited!  Olivia stuck to the side at the beginning.

Not Emma, she was off the diving board from the start.

Of course Marcus was right behind her the whole time too.

Marc tried to teach Marcus how to flip.

He had Emma flipping too...look at that form!

Marcus tried to go backwards too...he was trying all kinds of tricks.

Nice dive Emma.

A little girl gossip time.

Emma really wanted Olivia to jump in with her.

HaHaHa...got ya!

Ok...Olivia finally jumps off the diving board.

Some protective gear to make things more interesting.

One...

two..

and three!

Let's do it again!

This time they finally jumped hand in hand...ahhh...too cute.

That was fun!

They thought these goggles would help them.

Hand in hand once again.  I guess we can say there is no fear with my kids and water.  They do have a lot of fun whenever they are near a pool!  We are definitely signing up for swimming lessons soon...although we have been working with them and they are all doing really well.  I think we need to invest in a pool someday soon!  Fun times!

Birthday Celebration

Olivia and I made this cake Monday night.  It was all her idea.  She picked out all the flavors and was there every step of the way.

It's an ice cream cake!  It turned out yummy.  I will be making more of these in the future for sure!

We presented it to the birthday boy last night!  Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

The Garden

Our garden is doing very well this year!  Look at all of those Zucchini's and other veggies!

Here's a picture of the entire garden.

Our raspberries are across the driveway.  Marcus was in charge of picking those.

More of the garden.

Carrots and lettuce...yum!

Olivia is our bean picking expert.

She showed Emma how to pinch them off.

Look at those tomatoes!

Wow!  That's a lot!

Blueberries!  Are you picking or eating Marcus?
