College of the Canyons

We decided to check out JUCOs for Marcus. He has reached out to several and College of the Canyons responded so we headed there yesterday. We didn’t have an appointment but while walking around the campus we ran into a nice lady who must have thought we looked lost. She ended up being the wife of the Athletic Counselor. She introduced us to him and he ended up taking us to the football office. We talked to the defensive coordinator and a couple of defensive coaches. We were there for a few hours!   They even knew Martea, Marcus’s trainer from a few years ago. Martea actually went to this school. Small world. Marcus loved it and said this is the school for him. We are still keeping options open but this is a strong contender.
