We got the old 14U Diamonds team back together for an evening. Laney (on the far left in the first picture) joined this team at the start of the 14U season. However she was a military kid and only played with this group for 1 1/2 seasons before having to move away. However all these girls stayed in contact with her. Her family came back to visit this week so the girls planned a night together. They swam, ate, played games and just caught up with each other. Coach Tiffany even came too! Laney’s dad told us afterwards how special this group was…he said they did not connect with any other families anywhere like they did with us. I agree, this is really a special group.
