End of an era

Emma and Olivia started with the Diamonds at age 11. We had them do the tryouts for “experience”. The coaches loved them mainly because they were fast around the bases. We were so proud (and a little shocked) they made the team.

Fast forward to age 16…still Diamonds and two of the best in their sport. Crazy how time flies.

Their dad joined the coaching staff when they were 12. They learned and grew in the sport together.

Now it’s time to fly…Marc is retiring from coaching them and they are leaving the Diamonds for bigger opportunities.

It was a great place to learn and grow. They made some strong friendships along the way and we are so grateful for the experience. They ended the Reno tournament with a big win and then a hard loss(8-9 in extra innings). They were one game away from the championship bracket. They played their hearts out and left nothing behind. Gotta be proud of that!

What an amazing time it's been! Love the throw-back pictures and the bright prospects for the girls.
