FBU regionals was this weekend. This year’s 8th grade team was ready and excited. Winner goes to Florida!
Their first game was basically a forfeit so they advanced to the Championship round immediately. They held a practice on Saturday in place of the game. It was in Portland so Robert came to watch.
Leon came to support the team on Sunday…unfortunately the game didn’t quite end up as we hoped.
Marcus ended up in the ER at the end of the game…
The team ended with a loss after a great fight and Marcus ended up with a broken wrist. The hospital and his dad took great care of him…I was at home in Spokane…too far away.
They actually put Marcus to sleep to reset his wrist.
The left side is after the reset.
Ouch!
Marc said the doctors actually high fives when they saw how good they did with the reset!
We are so proud of Marcus’s hard work…3 years in a row on this elite team! He learned so much and made amazing friends along the way. What a great experience. Great job Eastern Washington!!!
