Mother's Day Invitational

Richland was the destination for Mother's Day weekend.  We had a big tournament.  Olivia got to be team captain for the first game.

Olivia goes for the bunt.  She actually hit a perfect bunt in the first game of the day; I got it on video too!

The girls played 3 games the first day and ended up in the Gold bracket for the 2nd day.  Here are a few of them before their third game...these girls are so fun!

The second day started at 10am.  Emma got to be a team captain for this one.

This time she hit the perfect bunt.  I got a picture while Marcus video'd it. 

She got all the way to 2nd base off her bunt.

And then steals to third.

Here she comes home.

We lost our first game on Sunday but got to stay for one more.

The sweet girls had Mother's Day presents for all the Mom's.

The boys cooled off with some shaved ice while we waited for the last game of the day.

Olivia played 2nd for the last game.

She did so well...she made lots of great plays; even caught some pop flies!

Here she threw to first for an out after fielding a grounder that was hit to her.

She went to bunt.

And bunt she did; sadly it hit her finger on her left hand and she ended up with a sprain.  Now she's out for at least a week.  Luckily she doesn't have any Diamonds tournaments but she can't pitch for her other team right now.
