Riverside vs. Deer Park played in the first ever Battle of the Horns. They had lots of activities for the kids...including face painting.
The Grid Kids got to be part of the show too. Marcus posed proudly in front of the Varsity players photos. One day he hopes to have his picture up there.
The Grid Kids had an important job to do at the start...here are the 6th grade kids that were able to make it to the game.
The Shriner's donated this amazing Battle of the Horns trophy.
The Grid Kids lined up and gave high fives to the Varsity players welcoming them to the field.
They also got to stand with them for the National Anthem.
We had a lot of fun...unfortunately Deer Park took the trophy home this year...maybe next year! We still love our Rams!

Great community fun! So glad the younger kids are getting a taste of high school football. Marcus will be unstoppable in high school!
