The girls played in their first club softball tournament today. Emma started out in left field and did awesome!
Emma up to bat. She ended up striking out...she still has the jitters about this club ball stuff.
Olivia up to bat...
Olivia got to first on a walk.
Olivia made it to second too but then the batter struck out for the third out so she didn't get to score.
Olivia played center field in the first game and did really well.

Sloan is on their team too! We know Sloan from basketball. They call Sloan the "newborn" because she is the only 10 year old on a 12U team. Emma and Olivia are nicknamed "the toddlers" since they are new to club and young 11 year olds.
Third game of the day...Olivia's up.
Emma got to play 2nd base.
She got lots of action.

Team huddle. They played 3 games, one at 8 am, one at 9:45 am and one at 1:15 pm. They lost the first two but one their last one. So, back tomorrow at 11:30 am.

Love the joy on their faces and of course the face protection mask! Looks like a lot of fun for the girls.
