The girls have been working hard to prepare for the Math is Cool competition which was Friday. They were bused from School at 3pm to Whitworth University. They had individual testing from 3:30 to 6 and then we got to come join them. They all had pizza for dinner.

Chattaroy Elementary had 4 teams of 4 kids. Emma, Jacob, Olivia and Cody were one team.
We got to watch them compete in the College Bowl. The had a string they could pull when they knew the answer the Proctor was asking. It made a beep and everything! It was like watching a game show. They actually did really well...they had several rounds.
Then it was award time. The first awards were to Top Individual Performer from each school. Our little Emma was Chattaroy's Top Performer! She went down to get her prize.
We were so proud of her!

Next was divisional awards. Chattaroy Elementary placed 4th in their division! They all ran to get their ribbon...Look at Olivia's huge smile.

The school gets the plaque; the girls were just holding it for a picture for me.
Emma wanted a picture of her cool award...a stainless steel water bottle. Also her 4th place ribbon.

The girls had such a great time...they have been going to school early every Friday to prepare for this and it all paid off.
The back of their shirts had all the Chattaroy kids' names on back. What a great event!
