We visited Daddy's old stomping grounds this weekend to attend the celebration of his uncle John's life. We truly wish it was for a different reason, but it was nice to be surrounded by family and friends. We decided to stop by the Turner's place before leaving town so the kids could see their ranch. They were tagging and worming thier cows so the kids got a show.
Marcus was right at home here. Now this is how you capture kids' attention! Marcus watched every move...he tried to learn what he could. Baylor and Elle came too...Marcus, Jeffery, Emma, Baylor, Olivia and Elle watching the action. We took the kids to the back pasture to see the bull...that's one big bull! Emma went to the front pasture to see the cows that will be going to auction.
The kids got to feed the cows hay once the cows were tagged. Jeffery showed Marcus where the hay was. All the kids got into the feeding action. There was one calf that needed to be bottle fed so they let the kids do the feeding.
