Slumber Party

Olivia and Emma had their 9th birthday party yesterday.  I made this yummy ice cream cake for the occasion...it's chocolate cake filled with mint chocolate chip ice cream and frosted with fudge frosting.  The girls picked everything out and helped decorate. Olivia wanted to pose with the cake and cupcakes before her guests arrived. We started by taking pizza orders and then made homemade pizzas. This year we just invited school friends.  Sidney, Malia, Emma, Kaydin, Lexie and Olivia sat outside and had their pizza picnic style. Kaydin, Emma and Malia played badminton. Then Katie came over.  She has a weekend soccer tournament so was a little bit late.  Javin, Sidney, Marcus and Katie on top.  Malia, Olivia, Lexie, Emma and Kaydin on bottom...Happy 9th Birthday Olivia & Emma!

After presents, more playing, pictures and cake, The girls hopped in their PJ's and watched "Bedtime Stories".  Katie had to go home then since she has more soccer tomorrow. 

The other girls went into the twins room for bedtime.  This is our very first sleepover at our house.  I can't believe we fit 6 girls in their room!  They stayed up until midnight!

They were up before 7am.  We had a breakfast of pancakes. 

Then they painted their nails.  Everyone went home around 11am.  It was a ton of fun...I think we might do this again sometime.  What a great group of girls!

Spring Concerts

Thursday was Marcus' spring concert and I got to attend.  First picture is the 1st grade singers...They did a wonderful job. Olivia, Emma and Lexie were excused from class to watch their brothers sing.

Friday was Emma and Olivia's turn.  Marc got to attend that one. Marcus and Javin were excused to watch their sisters sing. The little group of girls...Emma, Olivia, Lexie, Katie, Sidney and Malia. "Emma and Olivia did a beautiful job" said Daddy. Another great Spring Concert from everyone!!!

  

Coach Pitch

We are nearing the end of baseball season so I thought I should take some pictures.  We had a game last night against the Yankees.  We are the Mariners this year.  We have the buckets again this year...it just makes things so much easier and keeps kids where they are supposed to be. Marcus got to play catcher and outfiled. Sweet Olivia...doesn't she just look like a softball player? We don't call her Big 'O' for nothing...this girl never misses! 

There was a storm coming in...it never actually made it but provided this beautiful rainbow.

There was a quick pause in the game while the coaches got together to decide how many innings we were going to go...I kept the kids occupied with a quick group photo.  From front to back we have Wyatt, Olivia, Lexie, Jaslynn, Emma, Kaleb, Grant, Matthew, Javin, Marcus, Sylas (standing) and Braxton (I'm not sure where Ryder went?).  What a great looking group!  Love this team! Great Game Kids!  We have 2 games left after this!
