Easter

Easter fell during spring break again this year.  We drove to Westport, WA for our annual clam dig the day before.  We started out Easter morning finding eggs in the camper (the Easter Bunny did find us again this year) and eating breakfast.

Then we joined the kids' best friends, Lexie and Javin, for some clam digging.  This was Lexie and Javin's first time at the beach and first time clam digging. Emma dug the very first clam on her own!  Marcus showed Lexie and her mom, Michele how it was done. Dig Marcus Dig...the kids really did dig some of their own this year.  We were so proud...all got their limits of 15. Micheal, Lexie, Javin and Michele are hooked...their dog, Candy, thought this was pretty cool too. The kids wanted to check out the ocean after our clam dig. Marc had to make sure they all knew how dangerous it was so he talked to them about it.

We went down to the docks that afternoon to show our friends around there. There were tons of sea lions there. Marc set a crab pot. He taught Marcus all about it. Then we explored the boardwalk.

Then we had Easter dinner at the condo where our friends stayed.  We had turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, jello and veggies...the perfect Easter meal.

Their condo was right on the beach so we all decided to head down.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!
