I am extremely behind at work right now so planned on going in on a Saturday. The girls really wanted to go with me and promised they would keep busy while I got some work done. So out the door we went bright and early with coffee (and milk) in our hands.
We got to work and one of my co-workers was there. She asked the girls if they were going to the parade. Parade? What parade? Well apparently the Jr. Lilac Parade was happening at 10am. I did cave and we walked to the park to watch the parade. Here are the Jr. Lilac Royalty.
The girls were so excited about this...what a nice bonus!
This is the Camp Fire float...otherwise the parade was full of middle school bands and politicians.
And the Spokane Chiefs' mascot too...Go Chiefs Go!
