We had a week of camping planned at Chief Timothy Park. We arrived Monday around 2pm...the temperature was reading 122 degrees! We quickly set up camp and then headed to the water.
This was the only place that was somewhat bearable.
Even the water felt warm though.
The Roemers went and purchased some floaty toys at the local Walmart. Olivia loved that!

It was a late night. The kids somehow fell asleep, but the adults were up most of the night in the 90 plus degree heat. We didn't have hookups so no AC...it was miserable.
We were packing up by 5am and out of there by 7am.
We caravaned to Gramie and Poppi's house instead...we just couldn't bare another day of over 100 degrees and another miserable night.
