Monster Truck Birthday

We went to my cousin's son's Monster Truck birthday party today.  Emma is showing you where the fun is about to begin....the Ogburn Arena.

First the kids each got a balloon that they had to pop.  Inside the balloons were numbers.  That is how we determined the order for the Ogburn Arena obstacle course.

Zach, the birthday boy, got to go first of course.  Here he is at the start.  Go Zach!

Here is Emma giving the obstacle course her all. 

Marcus was #8...his t-ball number!  That was a coincidence.  He made it through the maze of string very quickly.

Now, here's Olivia (she was last), demonstrating how the obstacle course went.  First you get through all that string...

Next you go through these tires.

Then you go over a string and under a string twice.

Then you run through a path that was made out of string and go through this box.

You end by climbing these stairs and jumping over the truck and tractor.  They also got sprayed with silly string at the end too...I somehow missed a picture of that.  It was a great obstacle course...the kids loved it.

Then we went to the "body shop" and the kids got tattoos.

Emma and Olivia got a tattoo, Marcus didn't want one.

Here is the cool cake Tara (Zach's Mom) made.  It was tasty too!

A quick shot of one of the neighbor girls with the twins...these girls hit it off pretty quickly...they are all the same age.

Cousin Dustin took the kids for rides with the 4-wheeler.  They had a blast doing that too.

We ended up staying for dinner.  Here's a quick 2nd cousin picture.  Zach, the birthday boy (10), Olivia (5), Sydney (2), Landon in the back (8 next week), Emma (5), Marcus (4)

Little Sydney really warmed up to Marc.  She followed him around all night.  Marc told me he was sitting on the couch and all of a sudden she came up and rubbed his bald head.  She sat down next to him and it was an instant friendship.  Too cute!
