It's Hunting Season!

We tagged along with Daddy to Grami and Poppi's house this year for the start of hunting season. While Marc, Poppi and Raymond went hunting, Marcus showed us his musical talents on the bongos.

The girls rode the buckin bronco and rocking horse...I think they might be getting a little big for those.

Marcus spotted lots of deer in the back yard...he did better than the actual hunters did unfortunately.

Raymond's baby, Bella, also hung out with us for the weekend. Isn't she beautiful?

The boys came back for lunch and naps and then went out scouting. Marcus got to go for that. He was so excited...he wanted to be just like the big boys...he had to put his shoes on outside just like Daddy and Poppi.

Can you tell he's excited?

Sunday morning and the bongos are out again. Marcus became a pro at those by the end of the weekend. Take a look at that hair on his head though...somethings got to be done about that!

Yep...haircut time! Grami has cool clippers that hook up to the vacuum. No mess! And no hair on Marcus (he's very sensitive and gets red and itchy when his hair falls on his skin).

So handsome!

Grami and Emma had time to do some sewing.

Marcus and Olivia decided to take advantage of the beautiful sunshine and warm weather...October has been awesome for weather!

Emma and Grami's finished project...so cute!

And a perfect picture of my perfect angels...I actually got all three of them to look my way and smile! We had a great weekend even though the hunters came home empty handed...I think they do that on purpose though so they can keep the hunting season going :-)

What a great post. I love how Marcus is getting into the big boy way of life.
