When we came back from the upper lake, one of the adults had this great idea for a boat race. The instructions were that each kid had to make a boat and the next day we would race them in the creek. Olivia was on it! She gathered pine cones and wood and got some string from Uncle Carl.
Emma had a great idea from the start and also gathered wood, pine cones and string.
Here is Olivia's. She designed it and told me how to tie on the string...I LOVE IT!
This is Emma's. She named it "the Buckaroo". It was quite large. She was so proud of it. She called the pine cones "critters" that were on her boat. Too cute. Marcus also made one, I didn't get a picture of his last night though.
