Easy Bake

We brought out Emma's Easy Bake oven last night and attempted to make the yellow cake...first we put the cake mix in the bowl...

Then add the water,stir and pour in prepared pan.

Quick "cheese" for Mommy...

and in the oven it goes...bake 12 minutes and done...well unfortunately the Easy Bake oven didn't prove to be so easy...we ended up with a very flat, hard cake that went directly to the garbage. It was my fault though, I didn't have any spray for the pans so I just used shortening but forgot to flour afterwards. I am not my Mom, that's for sure (check out Mom's Amazing Cakes under favorite blogs on the sidebar to see what I mean if you haven't already seen her cakes...). Oh well; next time!
