Prognosis
I thought I'd give everyone an update on Olivia. In case you haven't heard, while Olivia was jumping on the trampoline on Sunday, she ended up on all fours crying out in pain. Taylor said all she could see was Olivia's legs giving out underneath her. She had a rough 6 hour ride home complaining most of the way that her leg hurt. She hasn't walked since. The doctor pulled, pushed and twisted her leg, hip and knee on Monday and she didn't even flinch. We thought maybe she was just scared to walk on it so nothing more was done on Monday.
Yesterday she tried to walk a little but looked like she was in severe pain. So we went back to the doctor today. He decided to take x-rays. The doctor couldn't see anything too suspicious in the x-rays but said he would call us after the radiologist had a chance to review...we got the call around 4:45pm and we finally know why she won't walk...
The prognosis is she has a buckling at the lower tibial (below the knee). They called it a "subtle fracture". I guess anytime something abnormal happens to the bones, it is considered a fracture. They said she may not walk for another week or two, maybe longer...just depends on Olivia and the pain. It's so hard with Olivia because she is one of those "tough kids" who has a high tolerance for pain. I'm just glad we finally know what is wrong. She seems to be in good spirits otherwise. Hopefully it will heal quickly and she will be running around sometime soon.

Sorry Olivia, I am glad it won't need a cast. I am sure that she will be back on her feet soon little ones heal fast. I know everyone at our house was very concerned about her. I guess you have officially become part of the tough kid club:)
