Spring Fever

We went to Home Depot yesterday and saw these cute flower pots for kids to plant. I am not a gardener...ask anyone...but I thought, might as well give it a try. It looked like fun!

First we put the pellets into the pots...

Then we add water...

Then you are supposed to wait 5 minutes for the soil to form...

After 5 minutes, we still didn't have soil, so we just added more water and waited more. It ended up being a pretty long wait. Even the babies joined in :-)

We did finally end up with soil, so we planted the flower seeds.

Then put the lid on to make a green house and we will see what happens. Check back in 7 to 10 days...we'll see if maybe we need Grami and Nana to teach the girls how to garden...I'm not to confident that this one is going to work :-)
