Turkey Day

We had a rough start to the Thanksgiving Holiday. Our plan was to head to Ellensburg and stay the night Weds then get up early and head to Maple Valley. However, Marc ended up working overtime (until 2am!) so we couldn't leave until Thursday. That meant driving all the way to Maple Valley in one day...with two 2-year olds that are newly potty trained...

Actually, it wasn't so bad. We made it and had a wonderful dinner at Auntie Kimmie's and Uncle Colby's house. The girls got to spend quality time with their cousins Sophie and Ceci...it was so much fun to watch them play. They are really starting to play well together now.

Marcus is still a little too young so he didn't get to play outside with the "big" kids...it was quite cold and rainy, so I made him stay indoors. Marcus is the biggest outdoors boy you'll ever meet...so it killed him to have to stay inside...just look at that face ;-)
But it all got better when we had a little early birthday celebration for Marcus. He got some great gifts and loved the attention.
And of course there was pumpkin pie!!! Olivia dug into that! All the food was "wonderful" as Emma would say (that's her new word...it's pretty cute to hear her say it). Thanks so much Kimmie and Colby!
