Back to reality
The kids threw some sticks for the dogs and had a great time by the river behind Raymond's house.
And Emma ended the weekend back to her little old self...healthy and happy. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Thanks again to all the hospitality we received this weekend! We love you all!!!
Getaway
It was pretty nice...we had a lot of time to just veg out and relax. I can't think of anything better than spending time with the kids!
Poor little Emma was not feeling well most of the weekend. She started with a fever Thursday and it continued on throughout the weekend. She was pretty pampered though...we bought her this princess airbed and Marc and Raymond packed her around so she didn't have to move much...look at that sweet face...poor baby.
Melissa taught the girls how to file their nails this weekend too. She filed Olivia's and the next thing I knew, Olivia was in the bathroom with her baby (aka glowworm) filing away...how cute is that!?!
Turkey Day
Marcus is still a little too young so he didn't get to play outside with the "big" kids...it was quite cold and rainy, so I made him stay indoors. Marcus is the biggest outdoors boy you'll ever meet...so it killed him to have to stay inside...just look at that face ;-)
But it all got better when we had a little early birthday celebration for Marcus. He got some great gifts and loved the attention.
And of course there was pumpkin pie!!! Olivia dug into that! All the food was "wonderful" as Emma would say (that's her new word...it's pretty cute to hear her say it). Thanks so much Kimmie and Colby!

Relaxing
They thought it was pretty cool. And I thought just the boys were attracted to stuff like this...I guess when you are Daddy's girls, you like this stuff too :-)
Grami and Poppi came over for a quick visit. Grami entertained little Marcus with his latest favorite activity. He was bringing books to her and loving every minute of their time reading.
We were sad to see Grami and Poppi leave. The kids stood by the window waving until they could no longer see their car. Marcus stretched his little head as far as it would go. Precious!

Don't Tell Daddy
He made sure they were well taken care of too. What a good Daddy...Marc is going to kill me :-)
Actually, Marcus is probably going to kill me some day for this post :-) Too cute!

Yum!
It rained all day so we decided to try a new kind of cookie. I got this great cookie cook book from Tracy for my birthday and decided it was finally time to try it out. The girls got their bakers hats and aprons (thanks Nana) on and were ready to help...they have really started to love baking...
...possibly because of the taste testing??? :-)
Here is the finished product...they turned out pretty tasty...sort of like an oreo.

Results are in!
No, I'm not talking about the election results...I'm talking about Marcus' 11 month doctor appointment. He has been so healthy, he hasn't been to the doctor since his 6 month visit so I was very curious about where he was on the growth charts. He is weighing in at 21 lbs now (25th %) and he is 29 inches long (50th %). So far, he is staying pretty consistent and the doctor said he looks great!
As promised, here is a little video of his attempt at walking lately. This was actually from this weekend...he's doing so great and getting better and better each day.
Oh...that scream at the end is Olivia...just a regular noise that comes out of her...nothing to be concerned about :-)
