Oh Nose!

I got a call from daycare this morning...DeeDee left me a message saying "no one is hurt or sick, I just have a funny story I need to tell you." Of course, I was curious...well, our little Olivia gave DeeDee a little scare at lunch. They were eating and Olivia kept sticking her finger up her nose (a habit we are trying to break lately) and saying "Ouch!" DeeDee kept telling her not to stick her finger up her nose and it wouldn't hurt. She kept doing it. So DeeDee finally decided to check it out. Olivia had stuck a kernel of corn up her nose! They couldn't reach it with tweezers, they tried to get her to sneeze using pepper...nothing was working. She did say Olivia was very cooperative as they were trying to get it out. DeeDee was about to call me to come get her and take her to the ER. Then Olivia finally sneezed and it fell within the reach of the tweezers...thank goodness! I have to admit...the thought of Olivia with her finger up her nose saying "Ouch" had me laughing the rest of the day. I asked her about it when I picked her up and she just pointed to her nose and said "Ouch"...Priceless :-)
