Relaxing

Our RV has an outdoor TV!  We watched some football for a bit. So cool!  

We spent most of our last day relaxing.

Marcus bough the kids ice cream with his own money. 

The weather was in the high 50s but the pool was warm. 

These kids live this. 

Best friends. 

Marcus loves the different palm trees. 

The motorhome was so nice!

We had enough space for all. 

We took the kids bowling too. 

 

Limo ride

The rest of our trip was spent in Vegas. We rented a limo the first night and went down to the strip. The kids were so surprised. 

The driver stopped to let us take pictures.

The kids didn’t know where to look... so much to see. 

What a fun night!  They will never forget this. 

 

On the road again

We decided we would leave Arizona a day early since the softball tournament wasn’t going on. We had a great dinner in the Toner’s motorhome. 

The park we were at did a Christmas parade!  It was so cool!

Then we woke up early and hit the road. We stopped along the way for little breaks. Here’s our crew. 

We got a kick out of this. 

Our new motorhome is pretty nice to travel in.

Arizona State University

The girls were supposed to play with an Arizona team in a tournament but it rained a few days before we arrived and flooded the fields so it was cancelled. We decided to take them on a college tour as a result...ASU!  We went straight to the softball fields. 

Olivia was in awe. 

She fell in love with this school. 

The stadium was pretty cool. 

Olivia said she’d go here for sure!

Emma says she is leaning towards somewhere in Texas but she really liked it here too. 

 

Arizona Softball...All Stars

The main reason for our trip was for softball. Olivia, Emma and Kynlea played in an All Star tournament in Peoria AZ.  They got to wear their club softball uniforms for the occasion.

The game began at 6pm..it was already dark.  Emma was the first to bat of the three Diamonds' girls.

Kynlea was at short stop.

The other team tried to steal to second but Olivia is quick.

She kept on going and slid into home for a scored run!  Nice work Emma.

Emma had a lot of plays covering first...she rocked it!

They won!  Congratulations girls!

All the girls on the team were from Arizona except these four. The girl on the left is from Western WA. 

They got cool shirts that had their names on them. They all did so well. We were so proud!
