More Festival

After the parade we walked over to the park where they had booths and rides and all sorts of fun.

It was pretty hot so we let the kids walk in the creek to cool off before lunch.  Marcus was the first one in.

Olivia couldn't resist.

Emma thought it was too cold.

Cute.

Then we had hamburgers for lunch.

There was a climbing wall and Marcus was all over it.

I was shocked...he's never done this before.

He knew what he was doing though and kept going higher and higher.

There's no stopping this kid!

He loved every minute of this.

Wow...impressive.

I love this kid!

He got almost to the top and said, "Okay, I'm done".  He was super excited about it the rest of the day.

Then the kids did a few rides.  4-wheelers were the first choice.

They went around pretty fast.

Then they went on the airplanes.

or maybe they are space ships...I couldn't tell.

They went up and down with a push of a button.  Weeee...

Marcus had trouble with his so he just played with the gun...fun.

Chatiqua Festival

We spent the day in Chewelah at their 40th annual Chatiqua Festival.  Jordan, Kallie and Easton was there too...this is their stomping grounds.  It started off with a great parade.

The kids were ready for this event.

The floats were amazing!

I couldn't believe the detail.

Last day of vacation

The Bradeen's were at the Ellensburg KOA so we went to visit them.  KOA had a very nice pool.  Kaydin posed nicely with our three.

Cruz and Marcus played with water guns.

We had dinner at Gramie and Poppi's house..Clam Chowder!  YUM!

The girls put on quite the singing and dancing show for us.

Little Gia was the main entertainment...the front girl.

Poppi entertained the boys by taking them in the jeep.  Over all it was a great vacation!

More Fun in the Sun

We went to another beach after the windmills.

The kids had lots of fun in the sand.

I even caught Marcus burying himself!

Raymond drove over for a visit too.  He drove his cool car...doesn't this look like we are stepping back in time?

Wind Farm

We took one afternoon to tour the wind farm.  Emma and Daddy posing in front of some windmills.

Emma wanted a quick Emma/Mommy picture too.

There were so many cool displays.   Emma is spinning the wheel to make the electricity turn on.

They had a little station for the kids to look at lots of stuff.

Marcus is showing me the map of windmills.

Marc is teaching Sophie all about a lineman's day of work.

This was the coolest place!  Lots of wind!
