The Ceremony

Perfect little ring bearers...I was so proud, they both said they were going to be shy but they did awesome!

The girls have done this before so they were pros...they knew exactly what to do.

Father and daughter...this is the baby of the family so it was very emotional.  My older sister caught me crying and started to cry too.  She kept saying "Stop it now Tracie!"

Tavein was so happy, Dad was so proud.

The beautiful happy couple, Jared and Tavein.

This was actually their 1 year anniversary...they actually got married July 21, 2011 right before Jared left for Afghanistan.  They wanted to celebrate their anniversary by doing the "big" wedding for all the family and friends since most of us couldn't make the original ceremony.  It was a beautiful ceremony.

Sabrina and I acted as co-maids of honor...I'm taller so got the job of standing next to the bride.  I left Sabrina in charge of the ring though since she is the more responsible one; she handed it to me at the right time.  Everything was flawless.

Ring exchange...

They incorporated their baby boy, Jaxon into the ceremony by pouring sand into the unity vase.

Jaxon even had his little hands on his vase helping out.

A few final words.

Then they sealed it with a kiss (which I did not get on film).

Jared used to be a member of the Honor Guard so he was allowed to have one at his wedding.  It was awesome mixed with some bubbles.

They drove away in Jared's friend's Cobra...very pretty car!  And on to the reception!

Pre-Wedding

We arrived at the church for pictures.  I wanted to be sure to get one with the bride...isn't she so beautiful!

The photographer set up all the pictures, I wanted a sneak peak so took some behind him.  Flower girls with their bride.

I can't wait to see the professional pictures!

I thought this was so sweet.

Marcus provided some musical entertainment.

Then Marcus got a hold of the camera...not too bad!

Here is the wedding party.  Love the colors...it turned out beautiful!

Groom with his boys :-)

Mother of the bride.

Bride and her brother, Aaron.

My older sister, Sabrina's family.

Me and my babies...it was hot and a long wait but they were troopers.

Emma took this picture.  I thought it was pretty cute.

Such a sweet moment...

Father and daughter.

Jaxon slept through most of the pictures...precious.

The bride was often caught in front of fans trying to stay cool.  Well, most of us stood in front of these fans every chance we got.

My parents...aren't they cute!

Family photo.

Bride and Groom...ready to go.
All the grandkids (minus the sleeping Jaxon) with Nana and Papa.

Getting ready

Saturday morning started out at the salon.  Olivia even got to come to get her hair curled.

Emma too!

The finished hair...aren't we beautiful?

And complete with the veil...so pretty.

We waited for my Mom to come pick us up...this is the salon where we got our hair done.

Bride with her flower girls...we ended up going with my older sister; Mom was preoccupied with decorating the reception hall.

We went back to my parents' to get ready.  Makeup done...check!

Mom arrived to help with the dress.

Tying Tavein into the dress was quite a feat.

Beautiful!!!  She had a penny taped to her stomach that had the date of her birth,1983...that was something old.  Her dress was something new.  She borrowd one of the flower girls' bracelets and wore it on her ankle for something borrowed and we tied a little blue ribbon on her garter for something blue...she's ready!

Look how sweet these three are!  They clean up quite nice :-)
