Pumpkin Carving Fun

The boys went hunting and the girls went to a pumpkin carving party.  Most of the school was invited so we ran into lots of friends.  Malia joined the girls for carving fun.

Tuesday Night Lights

The boys got to play a night game under the lights against Mead.

We started out with a touchdown early.  Marcus is congratulating his buddy Nolan for the touchdown.

It's so cool to play under the lights.  The game was at 7:30 pm so it was dark!

Spokane Half Marathon

Jennifer talked me into doing the Spokane Half Marathon a few months ago.  We ran at every football practice during the week days and on our own on weekends to train.  

Marc and the kids came to cheer us on.  Justin, Jennifer's youngest son, came too.

While we ran our race, the kids and Marc went out for breakfast and hung out downtown.

We did it!  We reached our goal and got our medals!  We were so proud.

The kids were so sweet; they made these signs for us so that is what we got to see at the finish.  Emma and Olivia even waited for us about a block away from the finish line and ran with us until just before the finish.  It was a great day.  We had so much fun...we are already planning to do another one!

This game was so fun to watch.  The teams kept trading the lead.

And really loves it.  Overall Marcus ran 102 yards and scored 2 touchdowns this game!

The final score was Rams 27, Cataldo 24.

Cross Country in Medical Lake

Emma and Olivia had a Cross Country Meet in Medical Lake.

Emma had a goal to beat the girl that always places in between her and Olivia.  She ran her heart out.

Emma ended up being the third girl from Riverside to cross the finish line.  She beat reached her goal by beating the girl she wanted to beat AND she beat Olivia!

Olivia ran her heart out too...she looked strong at the finish.

Great job Olivia!  She was so sweet.  She immediately went up to Emma and congratulated her on a great run.  She said "You beat me Emma!"  However, she said she will try her hardest not to let that happen again...so sweet and so competitive...I love it!
