Thanksgiving 2025

We spent Thanksgiving in Bonners this year. I made an amazing huckleberry pie from a recipe Marc found. It was a hit!  The kids had a blast catching up, Olivia was in Florida visiting her friend Kali. The kids are growing up so fast and things are starting to change. I’ve accepted that they might not all be home for the holidays every year now but I’m proud of the adults they are becoming. 

 

Amazing CA vacation

We visited a couple more colleges today and then headed to Santa Monica Pier. We watched the sunset and then Olivia dropped us off at the airport. What a fun trip! I can’t wait to see with college Marcus chooses!

 

Full CA Day

We visited 3 colleges today for Marcus. No decisions have been made yet. We also visited Laguna Beach and had dinner at Downtown Disney. We are exhausted but having a blast. 

 

Hollywood

We planned a trip to California. It started as a softball trip for Emma. She was asked to help coach a club team at the Huntington Beach tournament. The girls used to play in the same tournament during their club years. It’s been raining in California all week so the tournament ended up getting canceled. We also decided to visit some colleges for Marcus and we get to hang out with Olivia. We started the trip with a day in Hollywood. The Hollywood Walk of Fame was a bucket list item of mine and everyone obliged. It was so fun!  

 

Conner and Sofia

We celebrated Conner and Sofia last night. It was a beautiful wedding. It was great to get together with all the Network guys and wives. So fun!

Blood Donation

Marcus gave blood at school today. What a cool thing to do. 

 

Halloween 2025

The girls celebrated Halloween this year. Emma went as a Rodeo Clown. She FaceTimed us while we were at the game so I took a screenshot of her adorable costume. She went to Whitworth University to hang out with her friends there. 

Olivia’s softball team did their traditional dress up workout in the morning. Olivia and Cassie went as “America”. Then Olivia went to a party in the evening and was a Dallas Cowgirl Cheerleader.

 

Halloween Game

The Rams had a game on Haloween in Pullman! They played their hearts out, the score at halftime was 32-7, Pullman, and the Rams came back in the 2nd half but ended up falling short, 32-29. What a come back though! This is possibly Marcus's last highschool football gamee (there is a rumor they might have one more home game though). The season was a rough one but Marcus handled it with grace. He still loves the game and hopes to play at the next level. The next few months will consist of a lot of reflection and decision making. I'm so proud of his accomplishments and have no doubt, no matter the path he choses, he will be a success!
