Last Football Dinner

We hosted our last football dinner last night. The boys devoured 6 large pans of spaghetti along with a huge pan of salad and 2 large pans of bread. They play Pullman in Pullman tonight. This will possibly be their last game. Go Rams!

 

Duck Dynasty

Olivia and her roommates went to the line dancing Halloween party on Weds night. They dressed up as the Duck Dynasty crew. They actually won 2nd place in the costume contest!  

 

Thanks for coming

I caught Olivia sitting with the dogs this morning saying her goodbyes.  We had leftovers for lunch together and just hung out. I got a quick picture of the kids before Emma and I drove Olivia to the airport.  It's hard to say goodbye, but it was so great to have the time we did have this weekend. Thanks for coming Olivia! We love having you home.

 

Eric Church

The kids got to hang out on Saturday evening at the Eric Church concert. They had an amazing time. I love how they are so close and want to spend time with each other. 

 

Green Bluff Day

Olivia, my parents and I spent the morning at Green Bluff. Everyone was craving pumpkin donuts so we made it happen. Emma had to attend a volunteer opportunity for softball, Marcus had football film and Marc had multiple commitments so sadly they missed out.

Senior Night

Last night was Senior Night for Football...Marcus's last ride on the Rams football field. He had a lot of fans come to support him and he played an amazing game. It was Battle of the Horns, a game played against the Rams rivals, Deer Park Stags. Sadly the Rams came up short. The night was filled with friends and family and a lot of emotion. Olivia had made a plan way back in August to be here for this night. She purchased her plane ticket before she even left for California. We kept it a secret from Marcus this entire time, a hard feat for our family since we tell each other everything! It was a success...she flew in at noon and the first time Marcus saw her was at the game. So sweet! I just love our family and all of our friends! Thanks to everyone for being there! One (maybe two) away games left and Marcus's high school football career will officially be over. 

 

Hoco

Last Homecoming dance. Izzy worked most of the day so the kids got a late start. It was pretty dark for pictures but I did get a couple. If I get more I’ll add them here. They went to the dance after pictures and then Twigs for dinner. After that they went to a friend’s for a movie and called it a night. 

 

Homecoming Game

Last night was the Rams' Homecoming Game. The night started out pretty well. Campea was there so he got some good photos of Marcus warming up for the game. Marcus made it to the beginning of the 2nd quarter before hurting his ankle...then he was out the rest of the game. It's tough to watch your kid sit on the sidelines injured, but he was on his feet the second half helping his teammates and cheering them on. Sadly it was another loss for the Rams. Next week is Senior night! Hoping his ankle will feel better by then. It's been a tough season overall, but he's handling it with grace.
