Labor Day Fun

Marc and I started Labor Day weekend at Deer Lake with Chad and Julie. It was a nice morning of paddle boarding and a boat ride. Then we headed to Deer Park to watch Marcus play in the football jamboree but I didn’t get photos of that. So far it’s a great weekend but super hot!  

 

Fall sports

We had the fall sports parents meeting last night. One of the moms snapped a picture of the football players. Good looking group…let’s go boys!

Senior year…here he comes!  This marks the last Riverside first day of school for the Oergel’s.

Back to Cali

We drove Olivia back to California for her second year of college. Her apartment is super cute and her roommates seem really nice. It was a weekend full of shopping for necessities and decorating. Marc and I took an early flight home Sunday and Olivia started school this morning. Have a great year Olivia!

 

 

Cusick Fair

Marcus didn’t show at fair this year but still had a lot of FFA responsibilities. We also went to the rodeos and dance!

Summer Party Time

Another successful summer party was held at Oergel Resort. It was great to see everyone. 

 

Book Club Day

Today we met at Karen’s house and took her boat down the river for our book club activity. We discussed The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. Interesting book…great conversation and company.
