Last day 2025

It’s been a slow snow season so far. Area ski resorts have just begun to open. We decided to give it a try today We had a family ski/snowboard day at 49 Degrees North. It was limited but we had a blast. Several friends joined us for the fun. Overall it was a great way to end 2025. Happy New Year!

 

Christmas 2025

We had another fabulous Christmas in Bonners Ferry. Everyone was there and it felt like old times. The kids played games, had a chocolate decorating contest (instead of gingerbread houses) and hung out. Tracy, Kim and I bought 8 different gift cards and wrote riddles for each. The kids did a white elephant style selection of the gift cards. It was a hit! Merry Christmas everyone!

Coeur d’Alene Christmas

We had dinner in Coeur d’Alene and walked around to look at the beautiful lights.  

 

Christmas Tree

We got our Christmas tree yesterday at Spokane Boys. I think it’s the best tree yet!  We are ready for Christmas. I was able to get a picture of the house in the snow a few weeks ago. Sadly all the snow melted and we are having unusually warm weather. The ski hills still aren’t open!

Olivia woke up bright and early to sit in the tree stand with Marc. They did not see anything. 

 

Book Club Wreaths

Our book club activity was wreath making. We discussed Anna Karenina, what a book! Shannon was in Arizona so couldn’t make it. It was a lot of fun but we missed Shannon. 

 

Gambling

Emma and Marcus tried gambling for the first time. Emma won $200!  Marcus ended up losing money in the end. Crazy!

 

Marcus is 18!

Marcus became an adult today. We had Grami and Poppi over for dinner cake/polar pizza and presents. Olivia even FaceTimed for a bit. Overall I think it was a great birthday for Marcus. Happy birthday!!!
