The girls took time to take pictures with their trophy. What a proud moment...3rd place is quite the accomplishment!

Ainsley was on the girls very first softball team...the Blue Heat...they were 9 years old when they started softball! So fun!

And that brings us to the end of club softball. Another chapter closed…so grateful for the good memories and amazing friendships. 

 

Last Day of Club Softball

 

The Explosion played their last games today. They started the day with a hard loss (score was 2-3). They still had a chance to make it to the championship game but ended up with another hard loss (4-5). Overall they placed 3rd...they got bronze medals and a trophy! Pretty impressive!

Western Nationals Explosion 2024

I had to work all week but drove over in time to catch the last couple of days of Olivia's last club softball tournament. The first game I saw was so exciting. The girls played hard but were down 3-7 at the bottom of the 7th...they were home team so bat last. We got 2 runs right away so down 5-7. Then we got 2 more girls on base. We had 2 outs and Sidney came up to bat. She hit one to the fence her last at bat but they caught it so she was mad at this at bat. She hit a WALK OFF HOME RUN for the WIN...8-7!!!  That was it for that day...they were in the winners bracket so their next game was the next day.  Great Job Ladies!  I took tons of photos of everyone, but since this is my blog I will of course show you my favorites of Olivia.  She pitched and hit great!  I love to watch her play!
