Senior Night #2

We survived another Senior night. It all started with making Senior posters to display at the games. I had a lot of fun with them. 

The girls basketball team had 3 Seniors this year. 

The cheer team had 4 Seniors and 2 exchange students who are always honored at Senior Night too. 

The cheer Seniors got tiaras and sashes..so cute.

Olivia’s last time being announced as a starter on her home court. 

The game was rough, it’s no secret we have struggled all season, but the girls stayed true to their commitment and finished to the best of their abilities. We were proud. 

They announced cheerleading first..Emma was the last cheerleader announced 

And Olivia was the first basketball player announced…good planning 😊

The girls had a ton of support from friends. Olivia changed into her camo (we were playing the stags) to support the boys team. 

Hayley and Olivia formed a tight bond during basketball. Hayley is a Junior so there were lots of tears. 

Ruby was so sweet to make signs for the girls. 

Kali came to support too.

Olivia has memorized the “Up” scene from the movie and recited it to the team one day. It became a signature speech for her and was highlighted on her poster…too cute

Night Skiing

We had a date night tonight…we went night skiing!  It was so fun!  The kids went too but they snowboarded with all of their friends so we barely saw them. 

 

Basketball update

The second half of the season has begun. The Rams have played all their league teams once and did come out with one win vs Newport. Last night they went to Colville and while it was a loss, it was a lot closer score than the first time they faced off. The girls continue to improve and fight. Olivia has become quite good at blocking her opponent’s shots. She’s averaging about 8 points a game. She’s still having fun and that’s what is important. 

 

 

Date Night

Chad and Julie had tickets to Parker McCollum and invited us. It was fun to hang out again. The concert was great too!

 

Las Vegas

Marc and Olivia went to Vegas for softball. Olivia had a great tournament. She pitched 2 full games and hit really well…she even had a home run!  The Explosion won all 5 games!!!  They even had a little time for fun.  Great job ladies! 

 

Basketball Games

Emma continues to cheer on the basketball team 

It’s fun to see the girls do their thing this year 

Olivia is having a blast as a senior leading a very young group this year. 

They still haven’t won many games but still fight hard 

They set goals for each game and are determined to achieve them. Go Lady Rams!
