Christmas Cookies

The girls made all the Christmas cookies this year. Emma got tired so I only got pictures of Olivia. I love this tradition. 

 

Family Time

We had a family day at the mountain. Marcus actually got pulled into work when we got there but we were able to see him at lunchtime for a quick family photo. Marcus has tea been enjoying his job up there. He is such a winter boy!

Christmas Tree

After we picked up Olivia we headed to the tree lot to buy our tree from Emma. She got home Thursday and jumped right into working. She did a great job! 

 

Home Sweet Home

The California girls flew home today. We got to the airport and Cassie’s family was way more prepared than we were. I love it!  Welcome home ladies. 

 

Book Club Gym Day

Today we met at Karen’s work for a strength workout. It was amazing. Then we walked to a local coffee shop to discuss our last book, The Women by Kristin Hannah. What a great day with amazing friends. 

 

Ski Day

We decided to check out the mountain today. It was super foggy and icy but we got 4 long runs in and even got to eat lunch with Marcus. Marc and I called it a day after lunch but Marcus will be up there till close. 

 

Handsome Boys

It's been a while since I posted these boys..Archie is 5 years old and Benny is almost 2. They really do a great job at protecting the animals around here.  We sure do love these guys.

 

Birthday Celebration

We celebrated Marcus’s birthday last night since the girls won’t be here Tuesday. Scott and Julie came over and Marcus had a friend over too. We had Marcus’s favorite dinner (spaghetti) and Oreo ice cream pie from Baskin Robbin’s.  Happy early birthday Marcus!

 

Emma’s home

Emma got to spend an entire week at home for Fall break.  She arranged a job with Spokane Boys ahead of her arrival and worked almost every day of her break. She even made it in their social media post. She goes back today for finals and then home again on the 13th. She will continue selling Christmas trees when she gets back too. Marc used to do this after college…crazy how the world works. 

 

Happy Thanksgiving

The Singers came over this year for Thanksgiving. It was pretty quiet with lots of food and good friends. We even did a photo shoot...we got a few good ones for the Christmas card.  Happy Thanksgiving!

 

Bird Hunting

The boys went pheasant hunting. The craziest thing happened…the birds were set free and one landed on the truck!  You can’t make that up!  Olivia wanted to pose when they got home. Fun times. 

 

Olivia’s coming home

It’s been 3 months (actually 100 days) since we’ve seen Olivia. She flew home with her roommate for Thanksgiving. We only get her for a few days but she’ll be back for Christmas. 

 

Snow is here

Marcus spent the day snowboarding with friends at 49 Degrees North today. These boys will be at Mt Spokane State Park working at the ski lifts all winter. Mt Spokane is supposed to open Nov 29th! 

 

College Softball

Olivia had her college softball debut. Her old club softball team was in town for a fall tournament and Cassie’s sister plays for them so Cassie’s family came to Cal Lu’s scrimmage. They shared photos with us. Then Olivia got to go watch her friends play all weekend and even ran into Ryan. He was there watching his daughter play. So fun!
