Vacation Over

We had an extra day in Salem so found some outlets and did some shopping. There was also an arcade. The kids had fun racing Marc. Olivia was the winner. The girls and I ended the day at the movie Barbie. 

 

Last Day of Play...and end of an era

The girls entered the bracket play ready to go.  The tournament was a double elimination style so 2 losses and you are out.  They started out strong but in the end lost 2 games in a row.  Emma has decided this is her last club season.  She will play her Senior year of school ball and then hang up her cleats.  I love watching her play and will really miss her during club season next year.  She is an amazing catcher and shortstop, one of the best in my opinion.  She had the game of her life the last game so she went out on top!  We couldn't be more proud!  Olivia wants to play in college so will continue on.  It will be strange not having them out there at the same time.

I came up to the fence to take photos of Emma during the last game.  It was clear the game was over and one of the mom's asked me what I was thinking.  I responded with "last at bat"...tears in my eyes.

Let the games begin

Pool play has begun!  The girls had one game on Weds and 2 on Thursday.  Overall they played well and had tons of fun.  

Emma was sitting at the table eating breakfast, ready to go.  Olivia walked out of the bathroom and they immediately started laughing...I turned around and noticed their uniforms didn't quite match.  Olivia got the colors backwards...too funny!

Day 1 ended with a tough game...they lost 5-6...great game though!

Day 2 was 1 win, 1 loss...now on to bracket play!
