Back to Baseball

Marcus chose golf for a spring sport this year.  We were proud of him for trying something new but in the end it made him realize he really does like baseball.  Riverside hired a new coach, our good friend, Randy.  Randy has been trying to get Marcus back on the field all along.  Marcus finally agreed to play summer ball with the team and yesterday they scrimmaged Deer Park's Legion team.  They won by a lot and Randy is so excited to have Marcus on the team.  Marcus smiled the entire game and was super excited afterwards.  I love that he's back to baseball...I actually missed baseball!

 

Club Season has started

The girls went right into club season. After playing 4 games in 3 days at state they came back the next day for a 4 hour practice and 2 scrimmages (started at 8am, ended at 6pm). Then came back today at 8am for 2 more scrimmages and practice. These girls are tough!  They are still loving it though so we continue on!

Raygun played in the 4A division which was at the same complex. It was fun to hang out with her parents and watch her play too. 

 

Season Ender

The girls' school softball season ended today.  They did so well but came up one game short of competing for 3rd/4th.  What an accomplishment though!  They played 4 games at State and went 2-2.  Olivia pitched every game until the 2nd inning of the last...her feet have blood blisters under calusus.  She gave it her all and ended at first base; another favorite spot of hers to play.  

Great job Lady Rams!  We are so proud.  Here are a few of my favorites of the girls along with a few emotional photos saying goodbye to their Senior, Bree.  

The girls are going right into club season...first practice is at 8am tomorrow!

Famous

Olivia made the WIAA Instagram page twice so far. Day 1 she was on their feed and Day 2 she was their main story advertising the tournament. Pretty cool!

Game 3 was at 7pm.  This game had an announcer and music and was very upbeat.
