Football camp

Marcus attended a college prospect football camp in Tacoma. It snowed the entire time!  What a trooper!

 

Friday Fun

Last night was Tolo (girls ask guys). Marcus was asked early on and had a great time with his date,Gia. 

The girls decided night skiing sounded more fun so went up to Mt Spokane with a group of friends. They headed straight there after school and were the last ones on the mountain. They had some guy friends with them too they said they were so busy snowboarding that they didn’t take many pictures. The girls did a quick video that they shared so I did screenshots off of that to get these. They are loving this new winter sport!  I think we’ll buy passes next season and Marc and I will start skiing again too!  

 

Handsome

Dreams do come true

Emma and Olivia got to attend a camp that was coached by Olympic Pitcher Monica Abbott!  What an amazing experience!  They said it was so much fun. They also checked out a college. They were in Idaho Falls ID. They said it was cold there and they aren’t really interested in going to college there. Overall it was a great experience and so fun to meet someone famous. 

 

Valentines

Monday after school I noticed the kids went to Deer Park instead of going home. I questioned them and Olivia said she took her brother and sister to coffee. The real reason for the detour was to get me some Valentine presents. They said later that they decided to go to coffee too because they knew I would track them. I got a box filled with chocolate and a chocolate rose. Plus they even took pictures of their adventure…I love my family. 

 

A Day on the Mountain

The girls went to Mt Spokane and learned how to snowboard today. They got up bright and early, everyone met at our house for breakfast and they headed out for a day of fun. A couple of girls knew how to ski and snowboard so they taught our girls. Overall they had a blast and even stayed to watch the sunset. 

 

Chiefs

We met the family at the Chiefs game. The kids had fun hanging out and even ended up on the Jumbotron dancing!  What a great nigh!

 

Snow hike

Today I got together with the girls for snowshoeing which turned into a snow hike. We discussed the last book we read, “In Five Years” and just caught up on each other’s lives. I love this group and our friendships. 

 

 

End of Basketball for the Lady Rams

The girls basketball team made it to playoffs.  They played Lakeside tonight for a chance to move on.  Emma got to cheer at this game too.  We knew one of the refs, Marcus chatted with him at half time.  Marcus broke his pinky finger during his last basketball game last week which is why his hand is wrapped.  I'll post more on that next.  The Lady Rams lost so their season is now over.  Olivia played her heart out this season.  It was a tough season with not many wins but we are so proud of her for never giving up!
