23 Years!

We celebrated our 23rd Anniversary today. We worked in the yard all day but planned for an afternoon movie and dinner afterwards. We saw Top Gun Maverick and had dinner on the patio at Twigs. It was perfect.

Spokane Indians Game

The girls’ club softball team did a team bonding night at the Spokane Indians baseball game.

BFFs

Joel, Raygun and LeeAnn were visiting as well so we invited them to the game too.

We had enough tickets for the entire family.

What a great night for a ball game!

The Lemon Tree

Our latest book club adventure was in Liberty Lake at Ruth’s house. We did a 5 mile walk and had a wonderful snack of berries, nuts and croissants. It was perfect even though we weren’t all a fan of the book this time. However the book, The Lemon Tree, did spark a great conversation so we decided overall it was a win!  I always love our gatherings and can’t wait for the next one!

High School Football

Marcus’s dream of playing high school football has finally come true. He attended camp the last 2 weeks and it ended with the Red vs White scrimmage. Marcus was white and even got his #25.

It was fun to see him play.

Poppi said it best; he really looks like a football player…no intimidation at all with this kid.

He played wide receiver and even caught a pass!

He’s never as happy as he is on the football field.

The white team wins!  Marcus celebrates.

Good game boys.

They thanked us all for coming.

Poppi was proud.

Thanks for coming Grami and Poppi. Thanks for the great pictures too!

8th Grade Promotion

The class of 2026 made it through middle school!  Look how big this class is!  After a battle with the school, the moms got their way and an actual ceremony was held for 8th grade promotion.  They wanted to do COVID style and forego the ceremony but we would not have that!  Middle school has been tough enough dealing with COVID, we wanted these kids to have something normal.

Marcus looked sharp!

He received his certificate from Principal Johnson.

There were lots of photo opportunities.

These girls did not get an 8th grade promotion ceremony because that was the year COVID started.  They wanted a picture in front of their class painting on the wall.

Here is Marcus's class painting.  It's tradition that all the kids of that class sign their painting.

This group of kids were very happy for this celebration...they all deserved it!

Hello boys!

They had fun photo props.  Nolan and Marcus thought it was cool.

More family photos.

Too cute

They love each other so much.

We are so proud!

Besties

More photo props fun

The Repp's and the Oergel's...longtime friends.

What a great night!  Congratulations Marcus!

Graduates

We made it home from softball just in time to go to Mackenzie's graduation party.  Congrats Mack!

We were also able to get to Kaydee's party!  Congrats Kaydee!!!

Both ladies graduated from Lakeside which is a rival school in our league.  The girls have all played softball together and became great friends because of it.

Pick Up Players

Emma and Olivia played with the WA Angels this weekend.  The coaches were great!

Cute girls.

Emma at bat.

Emma played a lot of 2nd base.

The team was very accepting of the girls.

Olivia on 1st base.

Olivia played a lot of outfield and had a blast.

Campbell also picked up on an Angels team.  Diamonds playing with the Angels.

Olivia also got to pitch.

Great pitch!

Never gets old.

Emma on base, contemplating her next move.

Emma on base again.  She loves to steal and she's ready.

Olivia at bat.

Archie watched from the motorhome...can you see him in the window?

Go Emma

Olivia runs for the ball while playing outfield.

The girls batted back to back.  Emma is #18, Olivia is #10

More pitching

Great Job Angels.

Emma helped another pitcher warm up

Go Angels

Another hit by Olivia

And a hit by Emma

That's game.

Thank you to the Angels for welcoming the girls.  They had a lot of fun and learned a ton.
