Ax Throwing

I got to experience ax throwing through a work function a few weeks ago. Here’s my team at work!

I was the worst one of the bunch but it was fun!

I got to try again today for our book club activity.  

I did much better 

Brenda was the winner. 

I love this group!  We read Being Mortal by Atul Gawande…I highly recommend it!  

 

Lady Rams Softball 2022

Riverside softball is going strong. The Lady Rams were in 1st place in league up until last night. After a tough loss to Deer Park they fell to 2nd place. We still have 2 games left plus playoffs. This is a team of mainly sophomores so the future is bright!  Thanks to Grami I actually have a few pictures of the season so far!  

 

Baseball

It’s baseball season for Riverside 8th grade!  Go get them Rams!  

 

Seattle Trip

We were in Seattle for 7on7 this weekend. It was perfect timing for Raymond’s 50th birthday!  We had one of Marcus’s teammates, Greyson, with us. 

We had a pizza dinner and cake to celebrate Raymond. 

Saturday afternoon was pool play. 

The girls got to tag along this time to support Marcus.

The boys won 1 and lost 2 in pool play which set them up for Sundays bracket. 

They played at noon Sunday. Marcus is getting the play call from the defensive coordinator (Marc).

The team that beat them went on to win the whole tournament. I say we did great!

The ride home was interesting. Snow on the pass!

We are lucky we were able to get across. That was the extent of our spring break this year. Kids are back to school today.
