8th grade football

8th grade football has come to an end. Thank goodness for Grami, otherwise I would not have any pictures!  Marcus played well against Deer Park. 

He sure loves this game. 

They ended with a win…20-6!  They only lost one league game this year.

October Hunt

 

HOCO 2021

The kids celebrated homecoming last week. They had spirit week where they dressed up each day.   One day was character day so they went as tourists. 

Another day was rebel day. 

They had a couple of home volleyball games. 

They wore pink one night to support breast cancer. 

The dance was held Friday night. The girls got ready at our house so they could take pictures. Emma’s date plays football so we didn’t get any of him since the game was before the dance.

Blake’s mom was nice enough to get a picture of Blake and Emma after the game. So cute. 

They changed for the game and then back to dresses for the dance. Here’s the main group minus Emma’s date again.

I finally got a picture from the kids that had Emma’s date, Blake, in it. Dylan was Lexie’s date. The rest of the girls just went together for fun. They had a blast even though it was outside and they had to wear masks. Crazy times continue. 

 

She said YES!

Taylor is getting married!!  She found this cute bridal shop online that just happens to be in Spokane!  She made an appointment and invited me along. We arrived and saw her name on the door!

This was the coolest place. Tanealya, Sabrina, me and Mom sat on the pink couches while Taylor tried on dresses and modeled them for us.

I just love everything about this place. They had everything from coffee to tea to macaroons and mimosas. 

What a great day!  I promised not to post her dress but she looks gorgeous in it and it made us all cry.

Battle of the Horns

The girls are actually getting to experience some of the normal high school stuff this year. The rival football game was Friday night and the girls showed their school spirit in red and white. 

The evening started with a tailgate in the school lot. 

They had face painting too. 

Fun with friends. 

There’s even a fire pit!

The National Guard brought in a helicopter.

These are the girls’ friends from their sophomore class who played in the game. Rams won 42-14!  We get to keep the trophy another year!  That’s 2 years in a row!

Surprise for Emma

Emma had a little surprise waiting for her when she arrived at school this morning. Love that smile. Homecoming is October 15th. Can’t wait!

 

Senior Night for Sophie

We traveled to Bonners Ferry for Senior Night Soccer. Olivia, Emma and Ceci were ready to cheer on out Senior!
