8th Grade Football

Game day!  The boys wore their jerseys to school. 8th grade got New Jersey’s this year…they are sharp!

The boys finally got to play some football after all of the COVID shutdowns.  Marcus started out the game with a great punt return!

The score was 21 to 0 by 4th quarter so coach took out the starters.  This is a good looking line of boys...starting with #66 all the way to #70 are boys that Marc started coaching in 3rd grade.  They are impressive and so fun to watch!

Varsity Volleyball

Emma and Olivia are on Varsity for volleyball this year. Emma is the setter and Olivia is a right side hitter and back up setter. Their first game was in Newport on September 7. 

They played 5 full sets…all were close scores but we didn’t come out with the win. The girls are super fun to watch though.   They also played Priest Lake (won) and Medical Lake (lost).  After playing in a big tournament they ended up having to stop for a bit due to COVID. Unfortunately Emma was one if 3 varsity players that got COVID. She’s doing well, just sad to be stuck at home and not playing volleyball. They are supposed to start back up on the 25th though. 

 

Labor Day Weekend

We went Deer Lake for Labor Day. 

Marcus had a blast. Here he is waiting for Justin to come pick him up. He spent most of the weekend at the Gaffaney’s cabin. 

Kylie, Courtney and Karisa were all there. We were invited by the Starks…they just bought a lake house there. 

Olivia loves the lake.

Justin and Marcus did hang out with us from time to time.

There was a piano barge on Saturday night. All the boats anchored out by it and listened to a live band.
