Book Club at Oergel Resort

 I invited the girls over for our book club meeting this morning. So much fun!  Love getting together with these ladies!

 Marcus has a blast in this team!  Thank goodness for the coaches who made this season happen despite COVID. 

Thumbs Up

Emma broke her thumb 6 weeks ago while sliding into second base at practice.  It was right on the growth plate and took her out of softball for the rest of the season.

She got a pretty blue cast and was very patient while it healed.  Today was the day to take it off.  She was pretty excited.

 

It's a little hard to see but the picture on the left is when it was broken and the picture on the right is today...completely healed!  She did so well she doesn't even need physical therapy.

That deserves a THUMBS UP for sure!  Congratulations Emma!  

TWINS

The girls had a photo shoot at Kynlea's house and she shared these photos with me.

Marc's Birthday Party

We had a big birthday bash to celebrate Marc's 50th.  Tod, Danny and Rob came all the way from Rainier!  Marc was so happy to see them.

The party was so much fun.  The weather was hot and perfect for volleyball.

Jesse and family also came to celebrate.

Brian and Sandra stopped by too.

Kari and Brady came; Bret and Mac were in Montana for softball...I didn't get a picture of Brady...just this selfie with Kari.

Archie was a good boy.

Raymond made the seafood boil again this year.  He is the expert...Rob claims he helped too...see him peeking over Raymond's shoulder?

It was a great day to swim too!  Emma even got in with her cast!

I actually put 50 candles on the cake!  Well 52 if you count the 5 and 0 there.

Marc was able to get them all out!

Martea and Claudia came by as well.  Martea is the kids' speed and agility trainer.

We even had corn hole set up!

The big 50!

We had some visitors this weekend for Marc’s 50th birthday.  Raymond and Kona were the first to arrive.

Chad stopped by for some corn hole too.  A couple of other friends from Rainier came too.  

We had a small BBQ and red velvet cake...one of Marc’s favorites. 

The Toner’s also came by.

Golf for Riverside

We participated in the annual Riverside Golf fundraiser again this year. Jim and Marc golfed together. 

Jennifer and I completed the foursome. 

We had a whole group to hang out with despite COVID restrictions. 

We had a blast!

Can’t wait to do it again next year!

 

Trip to Silverwood

 

Marcus and a few school friends made a trip to Silverwood!  It was a great getaway for these kids.  They haven't seen each other in so long!  So glad this was arranged.
