8th Grade Basketball Pictures

We received the girls middle school 8th grade basketball pictures.  These were taken the very last day before school was closed for 2020 due to COVID-19.  These girls got 3 games in this season...not enough but at least the got some.  They had found out before this was taken that school was cancelled and their season was done.  The plan was to have mad faces...Emma and Lexie didn't quite get the message though.

He had his vision and got to work.

Cake Wars

Olivia bakes a cake earlier this week and decided to have a competition with her friends. 

Competitors are Emma/Olivia, Kynlea, Natalie and MacKenzie. The brothers are the judges. 

Since we are socially distancing the girls baked together using FaceTime. Can you see their phone?

Emma made her own fondant from scratch!

Crazy Times

I was able to get a few 8th grade action shots for basketball. 

Twin to twin. 

This was the 2nd game the girls played.  They got in a total of 3 games...

Then the season was called to an abrupt end. 

Friday it was announced all schools in WA State would close from March 16th to April 27th due to the Coronavirus. The team had one final fun practice and said their goodbyes. 

These ladies will all be freshmen next year...can’t wait to see them play again!

Kynlea’s Birthday

The girls went to Kynlea’s house to help her celebrate turning 14. 

They had a little accident in the sand pits...they flipped the side by side on its side!  They all had seatbelts on and came out ok. 

The next morning we all met for brunch at the Davenport Hotel. Olivia loves how fancy it was. 

Emma thought the food was amazing. 

Marcus has a good time. 

The girls got their own table...so grown up!

We walked around after brunch. 

The girls have never been here before!

They lived the ballroom the most. So fun!

Diamonds Bonding

We decided to have another team bonding day for softball. 

The girls tie-died shirts. 

One of the mom’s is going to put their numbers on back. 

And they will wear them at our scrimmages. 

Marc also got out one large and 11 small circles and the girls made softballs to hang in the shop. 3 girls couldn’t make it but the other girls made sure to make one for each of them. They are perfect!

6th grade class photo

8th Grade Basketball

The girls made the 8th grade Varsity Basketball team this year. They got to dress up for their first home game. 

I love how they take group photos with their friends and share them with me...I’ve trained them well.
