Game 1 vs. Portland

The boys played at River View High School in Kennewick, WA.  It was a cold morning but we were so excited for this.  They started the day with the National Anthem...Marcus looks so big!

The boys ran the score up pretty fast.  Marcus played linebacker and did awesome!

Eastern WA wins 49-0!!!  On to the Championship against Seattle!

We ended the day with a birthday celebration for Marcus.  We went to Buffalo Wild Wings with Grami, Poppi and the Nine's.  Marcus got a huge piece of cake and we all sang Happy Birthday!  What a great way to celebrate!

6th Grade Eastern Washington FBU

Meet the 6th Grade Eastern WA FBU team.  Marcus tried out this year and made the team!  They are fighting for a spot in the National Championship in Naples FL!

The boys have been practicing for over a month now.  Marc has been driving Marcus to the Tri-Cities every weekend.

Marcus is so excited to play on this team.

This weekend they stared on Friday afternoon with a practice.

I think these boys are ready!

Happy Turkey Day!

We hopped in the truck and headed to Grami and Poppi’s for Thanksgiving!

Archie loves this!

We did the Turkey Trot again...an annual tradition now. Tracy and I walked this year. 

Sophie and Marcus ran together. Ceci and Emma were ahead but we didn’t think to take pictures until after they passed. 

Gia and Olivia ran with Archie. 

The kids were cheering us on as we crossed the finish line. 

So thankful!

I baked a pumpkin pie!  Olivia made the cute turkey. 

We ended with a Happy Birthday Marcus celebration. 

Lady Rams Basketball

The girls had their first Rams AAU game today.  Here are the starting 5...Emma, Allison, Mariah, Lexie and Olivia.  Olivia got to do the jump ball but the ref was standing in my way so I didn't get a picture.

Emma was a tough defender.  It was hard to get anything past her.

Emma was also a great point guard...she's quick!

The score was tied 5-5 at half-time...the girls made a plan.

Olivia got her rhythm underneath the basket and was leading scorer with 8 points.  

The Rams won 15-7.  Nice first game girls!!!

Wrestling meet number 2 for Marcus.  All the boys lined up for weigh-ins.

Marcus said when he shook his opponents hand he thought he was in trouble...Marcus said he had a real strong handshake.

The match begins...you can see Marcus's coach, Jeremy, looking over his shoulder and guiding him the entire way.
