Football Camp

Riverside had their football camp this week. They always end with the watermelon toss. There’s Marcus right in the middle of it all. 

They even got to eat the watermelon!

Marcus Pitches

It came time for a new pitcher during one of the games and Marcus was it.

He had complete focus during the game.

Pitching really calms him down.

He struck out the last 2 batters in the inning....he did his job as a relief pitcher.

He hit well too.

Busy Schedules

Marcus had a tournament in Spokane.

The cousins and his sisters got to watch one of his games.

Then we all headed to Coeur d'Alene for the girls' tournament.

Olivia pitched the next game...she warmed up with sunglasses on.

She took them off for the game though.

She is ready to pitch.

I'm not sure what they were discussing...

But Emma sure knows how to make her sister relax...love the smile.

The Riverside girls are a pretty tight bunch.

I spent the rest of the weekend with Marcus in Spokane while Marc & the girls finished up in 

Coeur d'Alene.  It was hard to be split up but the kids had a great time playing.

First Concert

Time for Carrie Underwood!!!

The girls' first concert!  They were so excited...don't you love the boots?!?

Our seats were amazing!

Runaway June was the first act...they were great!

Maddie and Tae were next.  Maddie even waved to Olivia!

And Carrie Underwood was amazing as always!

Her set was so cool!  She had a circle stage that she walked around.

She played the piano too!

Runaway June and Maddie & Tae came out to sing with Carrie.

The tour was her Cry Pretty tour.

The girls loved every minute!

Touch a Truck

Marcus woke up bright and early this morning to go downtown with Marc for work.  Looks like he worked hard too!

What a great kid!  

They did a community event through Avista for kids to go through the Mobius Science Center.  They did this last year too and Marcus loved every minute so he volunteered again.

5th Grade Track Meet

I was out of town for the 5th grade track meet but Marc, Grami and Poppi were there.  Here is Marcus's class taking a group photo...it was raining hard!

Marcus ran the 200

He placed 1st!

He looks pretty excited and so proud.

He also did the long jump.

He placed 3rd in that.

His last event was the relay.  He was the anchor for that.  He had a ton of fun...the smile says it all!
