Weekend sports

Marcus had games in Spokane this weekend so it was a baseball weekend for me. 

The girls had their first travel tournament in Selah. Some of the parents shared some photos. Here are 3 of the Riverside girls.

Easter

We traveled to Idaho for Easter. First stop was Priest River to cheer on Sophie at her track meet. 

Easter Sunday was a hit!  The Easter Bunny brought all kinds of treats. 

Emma found lots of eggs.

Scrimmage

The Diamonds scrimmaged the Stealth this weekend. Olivia pitched first and Emma was her catcher. 

Emma loves being behind the plate.

Ironbirds Baseball Fun Continues

Marcus and Justin are representing Riverside well!

Marcus is having a great season so far. 

The coaches are amazing and he’s loving it.  

He had 2 amazing base hits during this game and also scored 2 runs. 

We are so proud. I love watching him play. 

12U Diamonds 2019

Math is Cool

Marcus competed in the Math competition again this year.

Emma and Olivia were there for support.

Justin, Austin, Marcus and Gus were a team.

Riverside 5th grade took 1st place overall in their division!  Congratulations Marcus!  Great work!

Ironbirds Baseball

Marcus is playing on a 12U team in town this year.  They are called the Ironbirds!  He had his first game of the season already.

Marcus chose #25 for baseball this year.  He looks pretty sharp!

He had a really nice hit!  Great way to start the season!

Go Ironbirds!  Can't wait to see these boys play this season!

Spring Break 2019

We took our annual family trip to the coast for Spring Break.

We went back to Westport this year.

Olivia had a schedule for us to follow.  First stop, museum.

It wasn't open so we just toured the outside area.  There was lots to see!

The kids thought it was pretty cool.

It was a beautiful day too!

We walked by the pier to check out the shops.

We did a little shopping too.

We decided to take a bike ride the rest of the day since it was so nice outside. 

We found a cool trail along the beach.

It lead us to a lighthouse!  We biked a total of around 8 miles.

Then we went back to town to find some fish!  Yum!

We also found an aquarium.  The kids had a blast!

What a great day!

We decided to drive to the beach for some family photos.

Dinner was at Bennett's one night.  It was so good.

There were only 2 days of clamming due to the clam tides.  The first day a huge storm hit.  It was an early start.  The kids ended up having to sit this one out unfortunately.  The waves were huge and the tide was never really low so a little too dangerous for them.

The second day was much nicer but we didn't catch many.

Overall we had an amazing trip.  It was just our family this year but it was a blast as always.

We love the beach!
