Marcus' First Game

The girls played their 2nd Tri-County game tonight.  Olivia started out pitching.

I can't get enough!

I love to watch her pitch.

She hit really well too and here she is sliding into home.

Marcus had his first baseball game tonight on the field next to Emma and Olivia.  It's nice when that happens so I can watch both games.

He started out in right field.

Here he goes, up to bat.

He does a great job at second.

Emma scores...nice job.  The girls won this one 17-11!  Go Mud Dogs!

Marcus is playing on the Cubs this year.  He's playing in Majors so all of his games are the same nights as the girls unless they have byes.  

Javin is on Marcus's team again this year.  Go Cubs!  What a great evening for some baseball and softball!  I love to watch these kids play.

Mud Dogs First Game

The girls' Tri-County Mud Dogs team played their first game tonight.  Our uniforms are the same as last year but the girls are bigger now so they can't be 1 and 2.  Instead they are 5 and 7.

Marc's coaching again this year.  We have several returning girls and some young ones too.

Olivia made her pitching debut.

She's a tough little thing with very strong legs.

The girls played Chewelah and unfortunately lost 11-15 but they played their hearts out and had a ton of fun!  Go Mud Dogs.   Great start to the season.

Selah Tournament Day 2

The girls started off the morning with a 9:50 game.  They were ready to go.

Emma got to play 2nd base this game.  She did so amazing...we were so proud.

Emma proved herself so she was one of the top 9 and got to play the second day.  She really battled when she was up to bat.

She did so well.  

Love to watch her.

She did bunt it but it was a foul.

She got a great hit but it was a pop fly and they caught it for an out.

The girls lost 10-9.  They played the top ranked team and really stayed with them.  We were so proud of these girls.  Overall it was a great tournament!  Good Job Diamonds 12U!
